Low Back Pain Treatment

Find the exact source of your back pain — then treat it

Low Back Pain Treatment
Overview

What is spine pain?

Low back pain is the most common reason people come to us, and the most commonly misdiagnosed. A bulging disc on a scan is not always the structure causing your pain.

We combine a hands-on segmental exam with imaging and, when needed, diagnostic blocks to establish whether the driver is a disc, facet joint, sacroiliac joint or nerve root.

Common symptoms

  • Deep ache across the lower back after sitting or standing
  • Pain radiating into the buttock or thigh
  • Morning stiffness that eases with movement
  • Pain on bending, twisting or lifting
  • Spasm that locks the back for days

What causes it

  • Disc degeneration or herniation
  • Facet joint arthritis and spinal stenosis
  • Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
  • Muscle imbalance from prolonged sitting
  • Old injuries that healed without full function
Our approach

How we treat low back pain treatment

1

Segmental exam

Level-by-level testing to localise the painful structure before imaging.

2

Targeted imaging

X-ray or MRI read alongside your exam, never in isolation.

3

Relief phase

Injection or medication to calm the pain enough to move again.

4

Rebuild phase

Core and hip strengthening to protect the spine long term.

FAQs

Low Back Pain Treatment questions, answered

Do I need an MRI before my first visit?+
No. Bring one if you have it, but we can start with an exam and order imaging only if it will change the plan.
How long until I feel better?+
Most patients notice a meaningful change within three visits.
Can I keep working?+
Most desk-based patients never stop; we adapt your setup during treatment.
